Rental Services

The Chamberlain Student Center & Campus Activities offers an equipment rental service for all SGA chartered organizations and Rowan University departments. The purpose of this service is to provide Rowan clubs and organizations with convenient, inexpensive options to make their events unforgettable. Rentals include a portable speaker system, popcorn machine, cotton candy machine, tents, red carpet, and more. Requests must be made at least 2 weeks in advance and are subject to first come, first serve availability.

  • Popcorn Machine
    • Serves 60 people; includes 2 packs of popcorn and 60 bags
    • Additional servings available upon request
  • Cotton Candy
    • Serves 50 people; includes 1 carton of floss and 50 cones
    • Additional servings available upon request
  • Additional Rentals
    • Lawn Games: Corn Hole, Spikeball, Polish or Kan Jam
    • Giant Lawn Games: Jenga, Connect 4, Checkers
    • Red Carpet
    • USB swipers for event attendance
    • Cash Box(es)
    • 6 ft. tables & folding chairs
    • Portable Block Speaker (includes microphone and aux cord)
    • 10x10 Tent with Sand Bags

Equipment Rental Policies

  1. All requests must be made at least two weeks prior to the rental date.
  2. Forms for the Rental Service are available via the SCCA ProfLink page.
  3. All rented equipment and materials must be used for official events on University-owned grounds and space. Equipment rental must be accompanied by an event confirmation via 25Live Pro.
  4. All rental requests will be processed on a first-come, first-serve basis. Priority may be given to student organizations, per the discretion of the SCCA.
  5. A $10.00 per day late fee will be charged if equipment is not returned by the agreed upon date.
  6. Renters will be held responsible for all damages.
  7. Renters may not use their own supplies with the machines.
  8. Prior to return, the renting organization/department is responsible for the cleaning of all equipment. A $30.00 cleaning fee will be charged if the equipment is not returned properly cleaned.
  9. Items must be picked up and returned as instructed at the time of their rental. Instructions will be provided in writing in advance.
