Are you interested in a RAH Co-Sponsorship opportunity?

Rowan After Hours (RAH) would like to offer your organization a unique opportunity to co-sponsor an event at RAH for little to no cost! It is a great way to get your organization’s name out to an audience you may not typically reach. RAH can co-sponsor with any SGA chartered or petitioning clubs, sports clubs, Greek organizations, or Rowan athletic teams whose event fits within the Rowan After Hours mission.

Co-Sponsorship applications are now LIVE for Fall 2024! Any SGA chartered student organization can co-sponsor with RAH and you can find the form on ProfLink.

All co-sponsorships depend on the availability of space and resources. The earlier you submit this interest form, the more likely we will be able to accommodate your request. All Rowan After Hours programs take place between the hours of 9 p.m. to 1 a.m. on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays. Co-sponsoring groups are expected to help set up and break down the event, so anticipate helping from 7:30 p.m. to 1:30 a.m. RAH events are always free to undergraduate Rowan students.

Unfortunately, we cannot accept monetary or physical donations of any kind at Rowan After Hours. Co‑Sponsoring with Rowan After Hours does not earn your club a service letter or project.

Steps in Setting Up a Co-Sponsorship 

  1. Read about the two tiers below. Events are separated into tiers 1 or 2 based on the type and size of the event, as well as the amount of effort necessary to make the event successful. The tiers description below explains the different types of events your group can co-sponsor with RAH. Review the tiers and choose the tier that best fits the needs of your group. 
  2. Attend an Info Session, dates can be found down below.
  3. Fill out the Interest Form with more information about the proposed co-sponsored event, including which tier your group has chosen.
  4. Within a week of submitting the interest form, a representative of RAH will contact you to set up a meeting and begin the planning process.

TIER ONE

Tier 1 co-sponsorships allow organizations to hop on to an already created event! While the event is still planned by RAH, the group is more integrated into the night, allowing more exposure and interaction with RAH participants. Groups can achieve a Tier 1 co-sponsorship by tabling, being a part of the event such as hosting tarot card readings, playing mini games with participants between rounds of bingo... etc.

RAH will provide a prize pack for all Tier 1 co-sponsorships.

We accept applications and requests for tier 1 co-sponsorships on a rolling basis, depending on availability, but encourage at least a month's notice. It is first come, first serve, so it is recommended you fill out this form if you want to host a tier 1 co-sponsorship during the Spring 2024 semester.

TIER TWO

Tier 2 co-sponsorships are for groups that are looking to host a major event. These events require a lot of planning, preparation, and diligence. Tier 2 co-sponsorships will allow organizations to be a part of the programming process. They will have the opportunity to develop an event.

Any organization wishing to plan a Tier 2 co-sponsorship must first successfully plan and complete a Tier 1 co-sponsorship with RAH. All programs must fit within the Rowan After Hours mission and due to limited availability, not all applicants will be selected.

Organizations planning Tier 2 events are able to select from:

  • Novelties (ex: Lucky bamboo, Photo Booth, Airbrush artists... etc)
  • Tech Support: (ex: Talent shows, Competitions... etc)
  • Performances: (ex: Poetry, Open mic nights... etc)
  • DIY Arts and Crafts support: (ex: Canvas/bookmark painting, Slime, Bracelets...etc)
Each Tier 2 co-sponsorship comes with the Food Bar of the organization's choice.

The deadline to submit Tier 2 co-sponsorship proposals for Fall 2024 is May 2nd, 2024 at 9PM. 

We strongly encourage those who want to host a tier 2 co-sponsorship in Fall 2024 to fill out this form as soon as possible.

Once you’ve submitted your Interest Form, you’ll hear from us within a week to set up a meeting to discuss the details. At the meeting, be prepared to discuss and determine event logistics; as well as be prepared to develop and complete a Co-Sponsorship Contract that will detail each party's responsibilities.
