Fresh Check Day
Fresh Check Day
What is Fresh Check Day?
Fresh Check Day is a partnership with the Jordan Porco Foundation. This signature event is an uplifting mental health day focused on suicide prevention among colleges across the country. Rowan University was the first college in the State of New Jersey to offer this event to our students. This event includes interactive expo booths, messages of support from campus departments, student groups, and community partners. Fresh Check Day aims to encourage students to engage in dialogue about mental health and showcases the many resources available for support in a fun and interactive way.

How Do I Get Involved?
Want to be involved in Fresh Check Day?
The Rowan University community cares about our students. We use the Rowan Thrive model to infuse well-being into everything we do. All six of our dimensions of well-being have one goal: creating opportunities to thrive.
Perhaps you're a faculty member who creates an inclusive environment that helps a student's purpose or community well-being. Maybe your students learn how to address their finances through your class, project, or workshop. Let us know how you support the overall well-being of our students and partner with us for this fun-filled event!
We encourage staff, faculty, and student organizations to bring their students and learn about the incredible resources Rowan and community partners have that support well-being. We're all in this together!
