Diversity and Inclusion Support Services

ASCEND
ASCEND is an educational pipeline scholarship program for first-generation, underprepared, and/or low-income students which utilize a series of intentional programming to improve student persistence at Rowan University.

The intentional programming includes advising, tutoring, mentoring, leadership development, supplemental courses, and undergraduate research opportunities. Through faculty, administration, and most importantly, their peers, the ASCEND program inspires academic excellence, enhances the overall college experience, as well as encourages post-graduate educational and career opportunities for students.

International Center
The International Center welcomes all international students and exchange visitors. We are here to help make your time at Rowan both comfortable and productive. We also serve Rowan's faculty and staff who are interested in inviting exchange visitors or developing partnerships with international institutions.

Office of Equity and Diversity
The Office of Equity and Diversity houses several federal and state policies and is charged with overseeing their compliance. The policies include but are not limited to: The NJ Policy Prohibiting Discrimination in the Workplace, Americans with Disabilities Act, Title IX Compliance, Rowan University Workplace Violence Policy, and EEO Compliant Search Practices.

Office of Social Justice, Inclusion and Conflict Resolution
The Office of Social Justice, Inclusion, and Conflict Resolution exists to promote an inclusive university community where individuals are empowered to grow in their understanding of identity, social justice, and the skills needed to lead a more just society.
