A member of the Office of the Provost, the Vice President for Student Affairs provides leadership for student-oriented academic policies and processes and for the Division of Student Success.  This includes administration of the Academic Integrity, Academic Standing, Grade Dispute, and GPA Forgiveness processes. The Division of Student Success provides numerous services to support all students in achieving their academic, career, and personal goals. With a focus on student holistic well-being, dedicated professionals provide expert support and intervention for students through University Advising & Student Support Services, the Academic Success Center, the Office of Career Advancement, and the Office of Pre-Health Programs.

Dr. McElwee received her B.A. in Psychology from Drew University and Ph.D. in Personality and Social Psychology from Cornell University. She joined Rowan in 2003 as a faculty member in the Department of Psychology and transitioned into an administrative role in 2012. She is honored to contribute to student success and academic policy work at Rowan during a time of unprecedented growth and achievement.
