Know Before You Go: Faculty Commencement 2026 Information

Dear Faculty,

Thank you for supporting and celebrating our graduates by participating in Commencement 2026! Your presence means so much to our students and their families, and we’re grateful for your involvement.

Below is all the information you need to prepare for a smooth and memorable experience at both the University Commencement Ceremony and your College Ceremony.

College Commencement Ceremony
Faculty members are also encouraged to register and participate in their respective college ceremonies. For the full schedule, please click here. Please arrive 45 minutes prior to your ceremony start time. 

Details:

• Commencement Map of the Rowan campus. Shuttle and golf cart transportation is provided at the labeled parking lots. Parking is available in any of the lots indicated on the map. 
• Check in on the patio at the Athletic Team House. 
• Light refreshments will be available before the ceremony 
• Staff will be on-site to assist you with lineup and processional instructions.
• The ceremony will take place on an uncovered stage in Wackar Stadium. Plan your attire according to the weather. 
• Wear comfortable footwear (no stilettos or pointed shoes) 
• Following the ceremony, you are invited to join the graduates and their families in Robinson Circle for a celebration

Academic Regalia

If you own your own regalia, please come dressed or carrying your regalia to put it on in the football locker room at the Athletic Team House.

If your regalia was rented for you by the university: 

• Prior to commencement, please arrange to pick up from your college commencement coordinator and prepare it for wearing. We recommend taking it out of the package, placing it on a hanger, and steaming it before the day of your ceremony. 
• To return your regalia after your last ceremony, please come to the athletic team house football locker room or the Group Exercise Room in the Rec Center and sign it back in. If you do not sign it back in, you may be held responsible for the cost.
