Commencement Tickets

Guest Tickets for Commencement

Commencement guest tickets are distributed directly to students only. Graduates who register to participate in their college/school commencement ceremony will receive an allotment of guest tickets. These tickets are divided into two categories:

  • All-Weather Tickets: These grant access to both Richard Wackar Stadium and, in the event of severe weather, Esbjornson Gymnasium. Graduates should provide these tickets to their priority guests to ensure access to either venue.
  • Stadium-Only Tickets: These are valid exclusively for Richard Wackar Stadium and cannot be used for entry into Esbjornson Gymnasium during severe weather conditions.

Access Guest Tickets                                                                                                                      

Graduates claim guest tickets by choosing a number of tickets in the commencement registration form and submitting the form. Once claimed, graduates can access guest tickets at any time by clicking "View" under the ceremony listing.

  • All ceremonies are ticketed events.
  • Tickets must be secured by April 1.
  • Tickets are ceremony specific and not transferrable to other ceremonies.  

Please note: All ceremonies will be livestreamed for guests who are unable to attend in person. Livestream links will be posted in the days leading up to Commencement

Ticket Deadlines

All tickets must be claimed by April 1, 2026. After this deadline, any unclaimed Stadium-Only Tickets will be assessed for availability. A first-come, first-served distribution of extra tickets will be offered. Graduates will receive an email at noon on April 6, 2026, with instructions on how to secure additional tickets. Extra tickets, as available, must be claimed by April 10, 2026.

Ticket Allotment

The number of tickets allocated to each graduate is determined by the venue's capacity and the total number of participants registered for each ceremony. Ensure you claim your tickets on time and provide them to your guests accordingly. Celebrate this special day with your loved ones!

Please note: On the registration form, graduates must respond “YES” to the commencement attendance question in order to select the number of tickets.

All ceremonies are ticketed and only guests with tickets will be permitted. Each ticket contains a unique barcode and will only scan once. All guests over the age of two are required to have a valid ticket. Children under the age of two who sit on a ticketed guest’s lap for the ceremony do not require a ticket. Digital and printed tickets will be accepted at the entrance.
