Commencement Registration & Participation Requirements

Registration

Registration is required to attend commencement ceremonies. Students must complete registration for each ceremony they wish to attend.  After registering for a commencement ceremony, students will gain access to guest tickets for that ceremony.  Tickets are distributed exclusively to students via Marching Order, the commencement registration and ticketing system. Registration for May 2024 Commencement Ceremonies opens February 1, 2024 at noon.

  • Visit go.rowan.edu/commencementparticipation or Self Service Banner>Student tab >Commencement Attendance Confirmation
  • Log-in with Rowan credentials and duo security to access the Marching Order graduate homepage. On the homepage you will see each ceremony you are eligible to participate in.
  • Complete a registration form for each ceremony you wish to attend.  NOTE: Completing for one does not register you for all ceremonies.
  • Be certain to select the number of guest tickets you would like to claim from the drop down in the ticket section of the registration form.
  • VERIFY ALL INFORMATION!
    • Name, degree, phonetic spelling of name, post-commencement contact information.
  • After registration, select “access guest tickets” and email guests their tickets directly or download and print.
  • Don’t forget to share all your ceremony information with your friends & family.

All ceremonies are ticketed events.

  • Tickets must be secured by noon on April 5, 2024. After the deadline, a first come, first served ticket distribution will be available until capacity is reached.

 Questions about participating in commencement?

Please note, participating in a Commencement ceremony does not mean that you have graduated. Degree conferral (graduation) occurs when all requirements are completed and an Application for Graduation has been submitted to the Office of the Registrar. Graduation application deadlines for each semester can be found here.
