Regalia

The pageantry of Commencement is rich with symbolism and tradition. Candidates for graduation must wear a cap and gown to participate in any and all ceremonies.

New in 2023! Rowan University has customized regalia for all graduates.  Caps and gowns are exclusively available for purchase a the Glassboro Barnes & Noble beginning March 27 at the in-person Commencement Fair. 

• In-person at Rowan Barnes & Noble beginning March 27, 2023
  • Visit the Rowan Rowan Barnes & Noble during normal business hours before April 15, 2023 to purchase caps and gowns
    
    
• Commencement Fair @ Rowan Barnes & Noble
  • March 27, 2023 - March 31, 2023 - 10:00am - 5:00pm
  • Cap & gown vendor will be on-site to help with sizing and answer questions.  There will also be class ring vendors at this event.

If you are unable to purchase your cap and gown at the Rowan Bookstore, please visit rowan.shopoakhalli.com to place your order by April 11, 2023.

Custom doctoral regalia

Please note that doctoral students wishing to purchase a custom gown need to contact Valerie Wojcik at 856-881-5954 to schedule a fitting. The deadline to place an order is Friday, March 17, 2023. The cost of this custom regalia is $1,195.00.
