Regalia

The pageantry of Commencement is rich with symbolism and tradition. Candidates for graduation must wear a cap and gown to participate in any and all ceremonies.

Rowan University has customized regalia for all graduates.  Caps and gowns are exclusively available for purchase at the Glassboro Barnes & Noble beginning at the in-person Commencement Fair. The Commencement Fair is Monday, March 18 - Friday, March 22, 2024.

• In-person at Rowan Barnes & Noble
  • Visit the Rowan Barnes & Noble during normal business hours starting Monday, March 18, 2024 to purchase caps and gowns.  Sizes cannot be guaranteed to be in stock after April 19, 2024.
    
• Commencement Fair @ Rowan Barnes & Noble
  • Monday, March 18 - Friday, March 22, 2024 - 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. each day.
  • Cap & gown vendor will be on-site to help with sizing and answer questions.  There will also be class ring vendors at this event.
• Online
  • Beginning March 18, 2024, caps and gowns may be ordered online and shipped to students.  Deadline to order online - April 7, 2024. Online orders cannot be picked up in store.

Custom doctoral regalia

Custom doctoral regalia can be ordered through Barnes and Noble. The cost for custom regalia is $1,279.00, and the deadline to order is March 8, 2024.
