Tips to Avoid Needless Ticket Violations! Follow the Rules!
- Obtain a permit or a parking pass to YOU CANNOT PARK ON CAMPUS WITHOUT A PERMIT OR PASS AT ANY TIME!
- Be sure your permit or parking pass is not expired and displayed
- Be sure your vehicle parked on campus is registered to a valid
- Be sure to park in your designated lot(s) or All authorized campus lots are signed.
- Commuters use Commuter or Resident
- Commuter Students with a “411 Ellis Street permit”, park in the 411 Ellis Street lot
- Residents use Resident or Commuter
- Townhouse Residents use the 1st and 2nd level of the Townhouse Parking Garage
- Rowan Boulevard and Mick Drive Garage valid permit holders can only park in their designated garage on the 2nd level and above only. You cannot park in any Rowan campus lots.
- Commuters or Residents: Be sure your vehicle is parked in Lot O (Not O-1 which is an Employee lot).
- Lot M is an employee lot The only exception is Recreation Center permit holders can only park in this lot between the hours of 6:00 am to 7:00 am.
- Don’t park in signed For example, spaces signed “reserved” require an “M” permit.
- Be sure to obey all posted
- Don't park or drive on lawns or
- Don’t park on diagonal
- Don’t park along a curb unless there are two white lines which indicates parking is
- Park properly within a designated lined space on paved surfaces, which includes roadways,along a curb, and lots. If a gravel lot, vehicle must be parked in front of a parking bumper.
- Advise your visitor or guest that if they are visiting for the day only, they are required to request a Temporary pass or see the guard at the Welcome Gate for a pass to park. If an overnight visitor, they need to purchase a Visitor Overnight Pass to park in lot B. Refer to the Visitor Parking section of the Rowan University Parking Rules and Regulations. A Day pass is valid between the hours of 8:00 am to 10:00 pm at no charge, and Visitor Overnight passes are valid until 8:00 am the following day for a fee.
- If you are handicapped with a handicapped placard or handicapped license plate, you can park in any lot in a handicapped space; however, either a valid permit or parking pass must also be
- Do not park in Load/Unload areas for more than 20 Flashers must be on.
- Spaces in front of the Student Center are for pick-up and drop-off only -“No Parking”. In other words, do not leave your vehicle unattended.
- Visitor spaces in Lot H are for visitors only (not students or faculty/staff) and limited to 45 minutes See guard, if present, at the Welcome gate for a pass to park in these spaces.
- Visitor spaces at Holly Pointe (lot X) are for visitors only (not students or faculty/staff). DO NOT PARK IN LOT X – REQUIRES AN “X” OR “S” PERMIT.
