Please read below to learn more about running a non-credit faculty-led program.

Step 1: Do you research! Review the Faculty Led Handbook to learn more about the information you'll have to collect to begin designing your program. After reviewing the handbook please contact the providers (listed below) to begin designing your program. You can work with the providers on an itinerary, cultural activities, cost, housing etc., to ensure that the program is meeting your needs for the course.

Our available providers are: International Studies Abroad

                                                        American Institute for Foreign Study

                                                        World Endeavors

                                                        EF College Study Tours

Step 2: Once you have an itinerary and program design set up through your provide you can start the proposal process. You will need to email the Education Abroad Advisor (kahler@rowan.edu) to be given access to the online portal where you can work on your online proposal. All requirements will be online. There are questions you will answer online as well as forms you will have to print out, complete and upload.  The deadlines for ALL proposals is now February 1st.

Step 3: Once your proposal is submitted, it will be reviewed by the Education Abroad Office. The Education Abroad Advisor will then notify you, via email, of your approval or if you need to provide additional information.

Step 4: You will meet with the EA Advisor to review recruitment strategies, student applications, deadlines and what the next steps will be as you promote your program.

Step 5: You would now be able to promote your program and the application will be open for students to apply via Rowan's Study Abroad application.
