EXCHANGE PROGRAMS

Rowan holds exchange agreements with 10 universities abroad. These universities have been carefully chosen based on academics, location and affordability. For our Exchange Programs, Rowan students pay tuition to Rowan University, not to the host university. Housing costs and meals are paid to the host university. Students can use financial aid, loans and scholarships on these programs.
Students must complete a Rowan Study Abroad Application in order to be nominated by the Education Abroad office as an exchange student to the host university. Once nominated, the student will work on the application for admission to the host university to complete the process. These programs offer on-site support and students will receive a foreign transcript upon completion of the program.
France: University of Bordeaux
The University of Bordeaux offers classes in English mainly in Poitical Science, Business, Natural Sciences, Mathematics and French language. Please email

Germany: Osnabrück University
Osnabrück University offers classes in English in various topics such as, Business, Economics, Natural and Life Sciences, Computing, Mathematics, Cultural and Social Studies (European Union) as well as German Language courses. Please email studyabroad@rowan.edu for more information.
Japan: Shibaura Institute of Technology
SIT is primarily an engineering university. Students with degrees in Engineering, Science, and Architecture will find courses in their degree. SIT also offers courses in Japanese language and culture. Please email studyabroad@rowan.edu for more information.
Japan: Kanagawa University
Kanagawa University focuses on Business and Economics careers of study; however, Kanagawa offers students a great selection of courses in Japanese language, and topics on Japanese culture. Please email studyabroad@rowan.edu for more details.
New Zealand: University of Waikato
As an English speaking university, Waikato offers a wide variety of degrees where Rowan students can easily find the courses that they need while studying abroad. Please email studyabroad@rowan.edu for more information.
Peru: University San Ignacio de Loyola
The USIL offers the majority of its Business, Marketing, Economics, and Finances courses in English. Also, students with upper level Spanish skills may find core curriculum courses to study there. Please email studyabroad@rowan.edu for more details.
South Korea: Ulsan International Program
Ulsan offers courses in English mainly in the areas of Engineering, Business, and Arquitecture. A Korean language and culture program is offered in the summer. Please email studyabroad@rowan.edu for more information.
The Philippines: University of the Philippines
As the largest state university in the Philippines, UP Diliman conducts most classes in the international language of English. Courses can be found in almost all areas of study. Please email studyabroad@rowan.edu for more details.
