Applying for FWS Positions
Applying for FWS Positions
Applying for Federal Work-Study Positions
Your financial aid eligibility will be displayed in the Financial Aid section of your Self-Service Banner account. If your account confirms your eligibility, please follow the instructions below.
Not all students who have an eligible status in their portal will be awarded funding for FWS. Funds are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
FWS Students Who Have a Position
If you previously had a FWS position, and will be returning to the same role, please contact your supervisor so they can let us know they will be re-hiring you. We will then award your funds (if funding is available) during the summer months and your supervisor can begin the re-hire process with human resources.
As a student, it is important your financial aid requirements (FAFSA, verification, etc.) are complete ASAP so we can award you funds when that time comes.
Students Looking for a New FWS Position
If you are new to the FWS program, or are looking for a new position, you are encouraged to look for available positions posted on the Office of Career Advancement’s job posting system called Profs Jobs.
- To access ProfsJobs, visiting the student section at rowan.edu/profsjobs using your Rowan email address and password.
