Marjan Moghaddam, featured in the current exhibition Enamored Armor, will talk about her journey as a computer artist starting in the 1980s and her process of using Gaming Engines (Unity3D) to code her augmented reality and space animations.

Marjan Moghaddam is an award-winning, pioneering, digital artist and animator, who works primarily with 3d Computer Graphics, motion capture of performance, and digital media for animation, post-internet art, print, sculpture, interactive media, installation, AR and VR. Her work has been exhibited extensively at international galleries, museums and festivals, in addition to curated exhibits at the Armory Show in NYC and Art Basel Miami. Ms. Moghaddam’s work has been an official selection of the prestigious international Siggraph Computer Animation Festival (the world’s top computer animation festival) and Computer Art Gallery a total of 4 times, and her work was included in the Siggraph CG03, 30 Years of Computer Art Gallery and international, travelling exhibition. She is currently represented by the Swiss-based, Noow Digital art collection platform, and is a tenured, Full Professor of Computer Graphics & Animation at the Brooklyn campus of LIU.


Access to Gallery Exhibitions and Programming is Free and Open to the Public

The gallery is located at 301 High Street West. Free 2-hour public parking is available in the Mick Drive Parking Garage across the street from the gallery. Admission to the exhibition and gallery talk is free and open to the public. Regular gallery hours are Monday – Wednesday, 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Thursday - Saturday, 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Directions can be found on the gallery website.
