Student Involvement
Working with the Wellness Center is a great way to become involved on campus, demonstrate leadership, and have career experience for your resume. The Wellness Center works with several departments on and off-campus and organizes drop-in student support groups like Chill n Chat and oversees training in sexual violence prevention, suicide prevention, substance abuse education, mental health, and sexual health. Wellness Center Training Sessions
The Wellness Center offers trainings in suicide prevention (QPR - Question, Persuade, Refer), sexual violence prevention/bystander intervention (Green Dot), Narcan administration, Mental Health First Aid, and more! All are open to the Rowan community, and upcoming sessions can be found on ProfLink.
Mental Health First Aid is open to the public for a $150 fee. The next session is:

Participants may register here. There is about 90 minutes of pre-work required, and participants must plan to stay for the duration of the class.
