Eligibility & minimum meal plan purchases
Canceling or changing your meal plan
You may change your meal plan (up or down) to one that best suits your needs during the first two weeks of the semester.
Cancellations made within this period are eligible for a full refund, excluding any Rowan Bucks or Dining Dollars already spent. No refunds will be issued after the second week.
You may upgrade to a higher weekly plan (10-Meal Plan, 14-Meal Plan, or All Access) at any time. If the change occurs after the second week, the cost will be pro-rated.
For the 30- and 60-Block Plans:
- Refunds are available based on the number of unused meals until the end of the second week.
- After the second week, no refunds will be issued for unused meals.
You may purchase additional block plans at any time during the semester if needed.
- Unspent Rowan Bucks carry over from semester to semester.
- Dining Dollars expire at the end of the academic year.
- Block plan meals expire at the end of each semester.
Purchasing additional Rowan Bucks
Additional Rowan Bucks can be purchased anytime via credit card by logging into Self-Service Banner, then selecting "Buy Rowan Bucks via Credit Card."
If you cancel your meal plan and it creates a credit on your account (negative balance), you can turn that credit into Rowan Bucks by by logging into Self-Service Banner, then selecting Transfer Rowan Bucks via Financial Aid/Bursar Credit.
If cancelling your meal plan does not create a credit (meaning you still owe a balance to the University), your remaining balance due will simply be reduced by the meal plan amount removed.
