Reporting an Issue with Your Student Neighbor

It’s important to hold ourselves accountable for our actions.  Rowan students who live in Glassboro live among the vibrant and diverse families that make up our community.  At times, the differences between Rowan students & Boro families can become stark enough that we as a community need to respond & make it right.

As a part of the Office of the Dean of Students, Off-Campus Services & Resources is committed to ensuring that our students have a safe, productive, and meaningful learning experience in our shared Glassboro community.  If a member of our Rowan community isn’t holding themselves to the standards of our community, we need to work to help that person get back on the right track.

If you’re a Glassboro resident who is having an issue with one of your student neighbors, please email Charlie Kuski, the Coordinator for Off-Campus Services & Resources at OCSR@rowan.edu or call 856-256-4062.

Please note that due to COVID precautionary measures & remote work, email will be the best way to contact the office for the foreseeable future.

For any issues that come up

  • We will address the concern promptly with the seriousness required.
  • We can contact & meet with students to address issues and better understand the concern
  • We can work with Glassboro area landlords & property managers to make sure concerns are addressed meaningfully
  • We can work with Glassboro Municipal Government, Glassboro Police, and Rowan Public Safety to resolve ongoing or serious issues
  • We cannot give out protected student information.
  • We cannot ensure anonymity for the reporting party in all circumstances.
  • We cannot unilaterally evict students from off-campus housing that Rowan does not own.
  • We cannot penalize students for violations of our Code of Student Conduct without due process.
