The Instrument
The IDEA Student Ratings of Instruction (SRI) is the only formal student evaluation tool overseen by the Faculty Center. It offers rich data analysis, including national norming. Frequently asked questions about the Instrument (survey).
The Link on Canvas is a Navigational Link Only
The link on Canvas takes students to their Anthology Student Dashboard and takes faculty to their Anthology Faculty Dashboard. If you do not intend to use the IDEA SRI, you can hide the link on the Canvas course. If you don’t see the link, directions for restoring it are in the document Frequently asked questions about the IDEA Link on Canvas.
Anthology Dashboards
Faculty have access to the Anthology Faculty Dashboard and students have access to the Anthology Student Dashboard, their own personalized homepage. Frequently asked questions about the Anthology Dashboards.
Learning Objectives
The IDEA instrument is designed around 13 Learning Objectives. Faculty members can adjust their relevant learning objectives while the surveys are open (important dates). Frequently asked questions about learning objectives.
Administering the Survey to Students
Remind your students to take the survey. If possible, set aside class time for students to complete it. You may not offer incentives. Frequently asked questions about administering the survey to students.
Automatic Emails from the System
