Back To The Boro

Each year, student and faculty volunteers of Rowan University engage in a community-wide cleanup of our hometown, Glassboro called Back to the Boro.  We do this to thank the citizens of Glassboro for their continual support of Rowan and our students.  Our volunteers visit the homes of Glassboro residents and perform needed household duties such as cleaning, raking leaves, pulling weeds, painting, and other tasks they may have difficulty doing themselves.

We are excited to announce the RETURN to Back To The Boro service again this year. We will be hosting the service portion of the event on Sunday, April 27, 2025 between 1pm-3pm. Then, we will host everyone back here on campus for the Community BBQ between 3pm-4:30pm.

Community & Neighbor Job Request Forms will be available HERE and throughout Glassboro. (Also, if you are a past participant in Back To The Boro, you should receive outreach from the Back To The Boro team in February 2025 and a Job Request Form delivered directly to your house through the mail).
