Rowan-Glassboro Neighbors Table: Partners Sharing Food to Build Community

Glassboro residents in need of food assistance may register for a Neighbors Table meal using the form at this page between 9 a.m. Monday and 6 p.m. WednesdayFor each Friday’s meal, participants must register between Monday 9 a.m. and Wednesday 6 p.m. Registration is confidential and required each week from Monday morning to Wednesday evening to ensure availability of food for participants.

York Street Market is providing each meal as a heat-and-serve family-style portion to serve up to four with a meat or vegetarian option. Dinners include a protein, starch, and vegetable selection such as grilled chicken, sweet potatoes, and sautéed spinach.

Meals will be available on January 22, 29, and February 5, 12, 19, 26, March 5 and 12.

  • Neighbors Table meals are available to Glassboro residents who complete a confidential registration each week.

  • Orders must be placed no later than 6 p.m. Wednesday before the Friday pick-up or delivery.

  • Glassboro residents with a Glassboro street address may choose delivery or pick-up. Participants outside Glassboro must pick up their meals.

  • Meals are delivered within Glassboro on Friday evenings 4–6 p.m or may be picked up at Rowan University Commuter Parking Lot C on Friday between 4-4:30 p.m. (Entrance at 654 Carpenter Street, Glassboro, 08028.)

This community assistance program is made possible through the generosity of Gourmet Dining (Rowan’s food service provider) and its partners, Jersey Mike’s Subs and York Street Market. Rowan University volunteers and staff deliver the meals. 

Individual friends also support the project with private donations to the Rowan University Foundation.

Glassboro residents can register HERE (the Registration Form is available each week between 9am on Monday and 6pm on Wednesday).

Rowan students who are food-insecure are encouraged to visit The SHOP.
