About Our Team

The Student Success Analytics & Systems team drives measurable improvements in student outcomes at Rowan University by leveraging data, technology, and assessment to inform strategy and enhance student support services. We provide strategic oversight of analytics and systems initiatives that directly impact retention, progression, and graduation, ensuring alignment with institutional priorities and Rowan’s mission.

What We Do

• Optimize student success technologies and automate workflows to improve efficiency and accuracy
• Deliver actionable analytics and reporting to support data-informed decision-making across University College and academic leadership
• Lead assessment initiatives for student support services and academic programs to promote continuous improvement
• Collaborate with partners across the University—including Rowan Online, Institutional Research & Analytics, and Information Resources & Technology—to align projects with strategic goals and accreditation requirements
• Promote a culture of data democratization and evidence-based practice

How We Support Other Teams

• Provide expertise and training on student success platforms (Starfish, Degree Works, Slate, Tableau, and more)
• Generate reports and dashboards for enrollment, retention, and student engagement
• Streamline processes through automation and workflow design
• Partner on assessment and planning projects to improve services and academic outcomes

The Student Success Anayltics and Systems Team also works closely with the University College Assessment Committee, and supports the work of all other UC Committees.
