Request a Presentation or Workshop
All workshops are offered Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 7:00 pm. Career Services staff can accommodate your presentation needs. We offer both in-person and virtual presentations.
Request guidelines:
- Workshop requests for the Fall semester will be available from the first week of August until the last week of September.
- Workshop requests for the Spring Semester will be available from the first week of December to the last week of January.
- Workshops will be scheduled in the order they are received.
- Please allow our office 72 hours to secure a time and facilitator for your requested workshop.
- Once the scheduling process is complete, you will receive an email confirmation and a calendar invite.
- Please note that workshops are limited to one topic per event.

The Academic Advising and Career Exploration workshop will explore how your chosen major can open many career avenues. Success by Design: Build Winning Resumes (60 mins)
Employers typically spend less than 30 seconds reviewing your resume. Learn to design a resume that grabs attention and targets your desired job.
Internship & Job Search Resources and Strategies (45 mins)
Learn about features available on Profs Jobs! Through this online resource, students can have their resume critiqued, search for jobs and internships, post resumes, retrieve career fair information, obtain employer information, and access on-campus interviewing and recruiting events.
Networking - Includes Elevator Pitch & LinkedIn (60 mins)
Networking starts long before you need a job or internship. The senior year job search begins freshman year. Develop networking strategies to be successful in a highly competitive job market.
Mastering the Art of Interviewing (60 mins)
Learn about the different types of interviews, how to prepare for an interview, employers’ expectations, and what information to share about yourself.
Navigating a Career Fair (30 mins)
Discover what employers expect from students during and after a career fair, including how to research employers, what to wear, what to bring with you, and how to communicate successfully with them.
