General Statement

Everyone should be aware of the basic legal requirements that apply to his or her job responsibilities. The Chief Audit, Compliance & Privacy Officer, or any appropriate supervisor, should be consulted as to questions whether a particular action is lawful. The following (see Areas of Particular Sensitivity) have been identified as areas that may be particularly susceptible to criminal or other prohibited behavior. Some of these areas relate to all employees, and other relate only to those who work in certain specialized fields.
