This event provides opportunities for the Rowan community to celebrate the life and legacy of a true American visionary.This year, new opportunities will be offered through our Day of Service for the community to leave a lasting impact serving in the spirit of Dr. King. All proceeds will provide four-year scholarships to our students through the William H. Myers Memorial Scholarships, furthering the University’s mission to provide an accessible, quality education at an affordable cost. |

Ash Wednesday: Ashes on the Go |
Observed by many Christians, Ash Wednesday marks the beginning of Lent. Those who observe Ash Wednesday may be given ashes in a cross pattern on their forehead to symbolize repentance and mortality. Students and Rowan University community members who would like to take part, may stop by the booth and promptly receive ashes. Father Todd of TEC@RU will be administering the ashes. The Mr. RHOmeo pageant is a scholarship program to show appreciation to men who exhibit qualities which reflect the mission of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc. Our main principles include sisterhood, scholarship, and service, with an emphasis on scholarship and service throughout the pageant. This event is more popular in the South, but the Theta Mu chapter would like to highlight the good works of men on Rowan's campus. |
