Biography
Michael is dedicated leader at Rowan University where he manages the day-to-day operations of the Online Learning department where he is responsible for learning design and development of online programs and courses. With a passion for online learning and educational innovation, Michael has played a key role in advancing Rowan’s initiatives in online education. His expertise lies in integrating technology with pedagogy to create engaging and effective learning environments for students.
Michael has extensive experience in course design, curriculum development, and faculty training, focusing on empowering educators to deliver high-quality online instruction. He also has experience managing enterprise learning technologies and project management. Under his direction, his team manages online learning technologies and instrucitonal design services for all of Rowan University.
Michael holds a Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Rowan University's Henry M. Rowan College of Engineering. He research is in Artificial Intelligence, neural networks, adversarial attacks, and digital image processing. He enjoys working with adult learners and teaches online courses for Rowan University's Master of Engineering Management program.
Michael enjoys spending time with his family and friends and getting outdoors whenever he can.
