Gender Inclusive Policies
Individuals are invited to participate in Intramural Sports and Sport Clubs in accordance with their gender identity.

Programs
Women+ Weights
The Women+ Weights initiative intends to empower women identifying individuals of the Rowan Community by providing a space in the weight room for us to support, uplift, and motivate each other. EveryBODY is welcome- all shapes, sizes, backgrounds- whether you are new to the gym setting or a frequent attendee, we hope to workout along with you.
While everyone is welcome regardless of sex/gender, we highly encourage those identifying as women+ to show up and workout together. We encourage participants to step outside of their comfort zone and explore the strength they have within themselves and within this community.

Gender Only Swim Times
To help meet this goal, in the past we've offered gender-only open swim times. We are currently evaluating available times in the Rec Center pool since the closure of Esby pool has impacted open times for programming.

Rowan Unified Sports
Rowan Unified Sports is a competitive sports club where Rowan students (Unified Partners) and Special Olympics Athletes come together to play on the same team for basketball in the Spring and soccer in the Fall!
The goal of the Rowan Unified Sports Club is to promote friendship and inclusion through sports while still keeping a competitive atmosphere. But it's not just playing! We provide a variety of other ways to participate and share in our cause. We hope and strive to promote equality and inclusion in all aspects of our club. Unified is a fun way to get involved at Rowan, meet new friends, and find a meaningful experience through participation. We welcome and encourage all, no matter what walk of life or athletic ability, to join us in our Unified Family.
Please email RowanUnifiedSports@gmail.com for more information on how to join our Unified Family!
