Welcome to Rowan University! We are excited to welcome you to our campus community.
The Office of Orientation & Student Leadership Programs helps support international students in their transition to Rowan, and helps you make the most of your Rowan experience through Leadership Rowan and other services for continuing students.
International Orientation
A special International Orientation is held right before classes begin. International Orientation is planned collaboratively by Orientation & Student Leadership Programs and the International Center.
Fall Term 2024
International Orientation for fall term 2024 admits will be held on Wednesday, August 28 & Thursday, August 29, 2024. Please make sure to reserve your orientation date online.
International students can complete Accuplacer Placement Testing at home on-line. For more information about the on-line tests, go to: https://sites.rowan.edu/student-success/advising/incoming-freshman/placement-test.html. Scroll to the bottom of the page where it will step you through the process for on-line testing. If you can’t complete the tests online, you will have an opportunity to take the tests during international orientation.
Spring Term 2025
International Orientation for spring term 2025 admits will be held TBD. Please make sure to contact the International Center with additional questions.
Final Fall Welcome Day
Both domestic first-year and transfer students who did not attend a Summer Welcome Day will be attending the final fall Welcome Day orientation program on Wednesday, August 28.
