Congratulations! You earned your Rowan University degree! We are confident you are leaving here with knowledge, fond memories, friendships and professional experience. We also understand that most graduates leave Rowan with student loans. Many graduates face student loan repayment with uncertainty, but fear not! There are many tools and resources available to help you understand and manage repayment.
Loan Exit Counseling
Students who received educational loans while in attendance at the University who graduate, withdraw, are dismissed, or take a Leave of Absence must complete Exit Counseling. Exit Counseling provides valuable information on how to prepare for repaying your student loans. A hold may be placed on your academic credentials until the Exit Counseling has been completed. Rowan University will be notified electronically that you have successfully completed the exit counseling session.
When managing student loans, each borrower will have a different goal and approach to repayment. Do you want to pay back your loan as quickly as possible paying the least amount of interest? Are you worried about affording your payments and prefer a smaller initial payment? Are you working for a non-profit or other public office and want to see if you qualify for Public Service Loan Forgiveness? Do you need to request a forbearance because you are temporarily unable to make payments? There are so many options to address each of these situations and more.
