What is the application process?
The eligibility requirements for our interns are straightforward. Candidates must:
- Be a U.S. citizen, or be permitted to work in the U.S. for the duration of the internship;
- Be an active full-time enrollment in college or recent graduation from college within twelve (12) months of submitting an internship application;
- Have completed at least 30 credits toward an undergraduate degree; and
- Have a minimum GPA of 2.75 on a 4.0 scale.

Please explain the work that will be required of the intern:
In terms of responsibilities, our interns attend congressional hearings and briefings on and off Capitol Hill, conduct research for clients, and assist with writing assignments, providing them with a practical, hands-on introduction to federal policy and advocacy. Along the way, we try to ensure our interns have a chance to meet their home district Members of Congress and staff, and other government officials whenever possible.
