All students must submit a cover letter, resume, complete an interview, and intern application. Interns must also attend the intern orientation. Resume and cover letters are due by April 30th.
Intern work areas: Clerical x Research x Errands Organizing x
Please explain the work that will be required of the intern: Interns will assist in policy research, constituent correspondence, assist in event planning and events themselves, work with communications staff, conduct constituent outreach through mail, phone and hopefully in-person towards the end of the internship provided conditions are safe.
Will there be opportunities for the intern to observe:
Internal strategy sessions? x Legislative sessions? x Committee hearings? x
Is the intern expected to work evenings and weekends? If so, please explain. Not expected to work evenings or weekends—but events may occur and interns will be asked if available to assist.
