Teaching with Canvas
Canvas is the Learning Management System (LMS) used at Rowan
Create your Canvas Course before the Beginning of a Semester
Faculty who teach non-medical undergraduate and graduate students may create their courses in Canvas. Log into the Rowan Online Portal, click My Courses in the top navigation menu, select a term, and follow the instructions to create a course shell for each of your eligible courses. You will be given the option to copy existing course content. Cross-listing is a self-elective system also available in the Rowan Online portal that allows faculty to combine course sections into a single Canvas shell. Students can see the course five days before the start of a semester. You can hide items you don’t want students to see.
