Volunteerism & Community Engagement

The Office of Volunteerism & Community Engagement (VCE) provides programming, resources, and support to promote a Rowan community of active citizens. We work collaboratively with university faculty and community partners to design a range of curricular and co-curricular service-learning opportunities. Students who engage with volunteerism at Rowan University will reflect on meaningful volunteer experiences as they develop a lifelong commitment to their communities.

In addition, VCE supports The SHOP Pantry & Resource Center - Rowan University's on-campus food pantry and resource center available to students in need. With a particular focus on addressing issues of food insecurity, The SHOP offers a range of free and confidential support services that can connect students with appropriate campus and community resources.
