Apply to Become a Peer Tutor!

Are you interested in becoming a Peer Tutor? You must meet the following list of requirements to be considered for the position:

• Be a Rowan University sophomore, junior, or senior
• Have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher
• Have earned a B+, A- or A in the courses you wish to tutor
• Be available for at least 6 hours per week
• Be willing and available to attend tutoring training/meetings
• Understand that the position is based on student demand; there is no guarantee of consistent hours

Application Process*

All applications for undergraduate Peer Tutors must be submitted via ProfsJobs. A current resume is requested as part of the application process.

A representative from Tutoring Services will reach out to you to collect supplemental information.

You will be contacted for an interview if the courses you are interested in tutoring are in demand. 

*We hire tutors based on student demand for tutoring sessions in specific courses. When a need arises for tutors in your eligible course list, a member of the Tutoring Services team will email you to set up an interview if you are a qualified candidate.
