Rowan Leadership Program hosts seminars where student organization leaders and our general student population can receive microcredentials for specific leadership related topics.  Students will be able to enroll in a module and upon completion will receive credentials or certificates.

Leadership Microcredentials Core

Leadership Rowan’s Core Microcredentials serves as an introduction to basic leadership topics which will focus on understanding one's personal leadership style and how it relates to the university community. These essential introductory leadership skills will help improve a student's sense of self and how it can be applied to group communication, university student organizations, and the general student body. 

Leadership Rowan Role Specific Microcredentials 

Leadership Rowan Role Specific Microcredentials builds on our Core offerings focusing on more of a tailored leadership experience. Students have the opportunity to select over ten seminars which focus on student leadership, communication, decision making, ethical leadership, and more. These courses are designed to learn about the student organization process and develop student leaders in student organizations. These course offerings are open to the entire undergraduate student body.

How do I enroll in a Microcredential Seminar?

You can find out about all of them on the OSLP ProfLink page. You can also email Leadership Rowan to learn about our seminar offerings. Seminars  are offered in the Fall and Spring semesters

Wait, this is different than last year.  What happened?

The Leadership Certificate Program has been redesigned to a brand new program in Fall 2025. This means that we will not longer be offering Bronze, Silver, and Gold Certificates. Leadership Rowan still offers our Leadership and Beyond program for the Fall and Spring Semester. 

What’s the time commitment?

This is up to the individual student. Each seminar varies in length and commitment. The student has a choice in enrolling just one seminar or multiple. For example, if you feel that you need to learn more about how to collaborate with peers, you may only enroll in the Learning to Collaborate seminar. 

I’m a Rowan Choice student, can I enroll in a Leadership Seminar?

Absolutely--you’re able to come to all Leadership Rowan events, conferences, & programs--including and especially the Leadership Microcredentials.
