It is with deep regret that we inform you of the passing of Helen Robinette, retiree in the Ric Edelman College of Communications & Creative Arts, on April 25, 2025.
Helen served as an advisor and instructor in the College of Communications, eventually becoming the Assistant to the Dean until her retirement. She also gave her time generously to the community — serving as a Den Mother for the local Cub Scouts, sitting on the Harrison Township Zoning Board, and volunteering in many other capacities.
Helen's husband, professor emeritus Joseph Robinette, taught for 34 years in the College of Performing Arts and passed the day before on April 24, 2025.
There will be a joint viewing for Helen and Joseph on Friday, May 9 from 5 to 7 PM in the McGuinness Funeral Home (Washington Township) and at the Catholic Community of the Holy Spirit in Mullica Hill on Saturday, May 10 from 8:30-10:45am. A funeral mass will follow from 11am-Noon.
