It is with deep regret that we inform you of the passing of Robert Haynes, retired professor in Art, on November 12, 2023.
Robert joined Rowan in 1960 and spent over 30 years here until his retirement in 1991. Throughout this time, he was President of Art Educators of New Jersey, Executive Director of the Gloucester County Arts Council, art consultant to the Gloucester County Historical Commission, and even a one-time judge of the Southern New Jersey Olympics of the Mind competitive program.
A memorial service will be held in California.
