It is with deep regret that we inform you of the passing of Earle Bargerhuff Sr., father of Rick Bargerhuff of Rowan Online, on August 16, 2023.
"Mr. B" was a teacher for 36 years, starting at Elias Boudinot Elementary School and later at Wilbur Watts Intermediate School in Burlington City where he taught math and science. His students have fond memories of class picnics at his parents' farmhouse in Broadmoor; his teaching them how to play chess; class volleyball and basketball games; and many projects and lab experiments including building bottle rockets. In addition to teaching, Earle was a bus operator for New Jersey Transit for many years.
