Choosing Modules

If you are choosing from programmes within Humanities, Social Sciences* or Sciences**, please select the modules you would like to study, in order of preference. It is important that you choose carefully, selecting modules you are interested in, as it may not be possible to change your selection once you arrive in Kent

http://www.kent.ac.uk/courses/short-term/how/modules.html

Please note that a small number of modules are not available to short-term students. If it is essential that you take a particular module in order to attend Kent, you may wish to check this with us prior to application.

*Law modules are only available to students studying at institutions with whom we have a direct Law exchange

**Modules within the School of Physical Sciences are restricted to pre-determined pathways and cannot be taken alongside other subjects. Please contact us for more information.

Method of Assessment

Students who attend for the fall or spring terms only will be given an extra piece of coursework in lieu of the exam in May/June if an exam component is required.

All spring & summer term students and full-year students are required to sit any examinations in the summer term, where applicable (May/June).  An alternative form of assessment is not allowed.

Official Transcript

At the end of the period of study, the University of Kent will issue one official transcript to the student’s home institution.  Students may obtain additional copies. There will be a charge for this service.
