The map was developed by Rachael Shapiro, Ph.D., Provost Fellow on Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI), Faculty Center for Excellence in Teaching and Learning; and Associate Professor of Writing Arts, Ric Edelman College of Communication and Creative Arts (CCCA).

As noted above, the map contains locations of all-gender restrooms, lactation spaces, and sensory-friendly study spaces, currently focused on the Glassboro campus. Also of note (not on the map yet) is the lactation space on the Rowan University Camden campus, located in the Camden Academic Building, Room 102, at 606 Cooper Street.
Dr. Rachael Shapiro is further striving to develop mapping covering the Rowan–Virtua School of Osteopathic Medicine (Rowan–Virtua SOM) and Cooper Medical School of Rowan University (CMSRU). Please submit locations of all-gender restrooms, sensory-friendly study spaces, and lactation spaces on these campuses to Dr. Shapiro at shapiro@rowan.edu.
