This past Saturday, the RowanSOM Vaccination Center held a half-day clinic, targeted to our Spanish speaking local population. This outreach day was designed and developed by our amazing student leadership. Student Drs. Husain, Orozco, Calderon and Robertson led a boots-on-the-ground recruitment effort – traveling to local churches and pharmacies to deliver educational presentations, flyers and care packages to the community. The clinic day successfully vaccinated about 80 people. The day was filled with joy, music and a feeling of family. A million thanks to the students & staff who volunteered countless hours to make this day possible.
