Spotlight – Amplify Marginalized Student Artists and Writers Voices

Spotlight is looking for submissions!

Spotlight is a student-run project aiming to amplify marginalized voices of student artists and writers at Rowan University. We are accepting submissions of art and writing of any kind! The vision for Spotlight is to celebrate and showcase various identities through artistic expression. Anyone who submits to Spotlight will be featured on the website, and from those submissions, there will be selections made to include in the printed book. The book will then be distributed for free on campus.

Who are marginalized voices?

Marginalized voices are those who belong to communities that have been historically silenced. This includes but is not limited to people of color, LGBTQ+ people, disabled people, women, and religious minorities. It is important these communities have a safe place to share and celebrate their art and stories. If you are a part of one of these communities, please consider contributing.

Please submit to Spotlight by emailing spotlightprojectsubmission@gmail.com by March 15th!
