In response to the recent release of the Final Title IX Regulations issued on May 6th by the Department of Education, Office for Civil Rights (OCR), the Office of Student Equity and Compliance (OSEC) would like to keep Rowan employees and students apprised of important information and policy changes in the near future. OSEC is actively engaged in reviewing the regulations for implementation and revision of the University’s Student Sexual Misconduct and Harassment policy. The Office is working with the OSEC Student Advisory Council, General Counsel, faculty, and other key departments involved in the Title IX process to ensure compliance.
We ask for your patience given the breadth, and depth (over 2,000 pages) of the published Final Rule but, we can assure you our priority is to provide a revised policy that incorporates the Final Rule’s requirements and meets Best Practices.
