In-Person Commencement Ceremonies - July 14, 15 & 16

We are excited to announce approximately 1,800 graduates have registered to participate in July Commencement! Due to the overwhelming response and to ensure the safety of our graduates and guests, 13 Commencement ceremonies will be held over three days — Tuesday, July 14; Wednesday, July 15; and Thursday, July 16 — with an inclement weather date of Friday, July 17.

Celebrating Your Accomplishments

Each year, it is our honor to welcome thousands of graduates to celebrate with their loved ones and our academic community during Commencement festivities. While Commencement looks quite different this year, our #RowanPROUD spirit remains the same.

The virtual ceremony includes President Houshmand’s address, messages from Adam Savage, Catherine Ni ’00, and Riccardo Dale ‘20, as well as the conferral of degrees.

Congratulations, Class of 2020. We hope to celebrate with you soon at our in-person event, where we will call each graduate’s name and invite them to receive their diploma cover on stage.

Greetings and Congratulations

Ali Houshmand, Ph.D.

"I hope that you will have the opportunity while you’re staying at home to thank your loved ones for the years that they loved you and gave you the support to accomplish what you have."—Ali Houshmand, Ph.D.
