Our Hospitality Commitment

Commencement is a momentous occasion for graduates and their families. Your role is vital in creating an atmosphere of celebration and ease. Here’s how you can elevate the experience:

• Be Present: Anticipate the needs of guests and offer assistance proactively.
• Be Knowledgeable: Know the event layout, ceremony details, and emergency protocols.
• Be Courteous: Always address guests with kindness and respect.

Additional Information for All Roles

• Attire: Wear comfortable shoes and weather-appropriate clothing, as you may be outdoors or on your feet for extended periods.To safeguard the turf on the football field, sharp footwear, such as stiletto heels and shoes with pointed or spiked soles, is strictly prohibited. As a reminder, commencement has adopted a clear bag policy. 
• Check-In: Arrive on time and report to your designated supervisor for briefing and assignments. 
• Communication: You will receive an email with specific instructions for the ceremony or ceremonies you signed up to work. 
• Parking: There are no designated parking lots for commencement staffers. Please use the commencement map to park in your desired location. Be sure to allot enough time to arrive at check in by your shift start time. Shuttles and golf cart transportation will be available.
