DOUGLAS MANN
Douglas P. Mann, associate professor of Health & Exercise Science, embraces University-wide leadership roles to advance Rowan’s mission. He serves as faculty fellow for academic integrity, supporting the University’s academic standards and student development. He has also contributed extensively to University governance and policy development on numerous committees. Through these roles, Mann has helped shape academic policy, faculty support structures, student learning assessment and interprofessional education initiatives that span colleges and disciplines. Additionally, he has held leadership roles in University task forces, such as the General Studies Task Force, which created an academic pathway for students with numerous credits requiring an alternative route to completing a degree. Furthermore, Mann engages in community and public service efforts, serving as the athletic training lead for Rowan’s involvement in the Migrant Health Collaborative of South Jersey and supports Rowan’s ROTC cadets. Mann consistently demonstrates leadership in academic integrity, governance and policy development, strategic task forces and community outreach. His service has been guided by a consistent focus on institutional improvement, equity and student success.
