What It Is

The Student Calling Program (SCP) is essential to the mission of Rowan University, as it supports communications with internal and external constituencies through strategic relationship building, fundraising and stewardship.

Our SCP Associates maintain relationships between the University and its alumni, parents, faculty, staff, friends and corporate partners through meaningful conversations. Our students contact thousands of individuals each year, educating, engaging and answering questions about the Rowan Fund, campus happenings, alumni events and more! They also solicit and steward gifts in support of Rowan University.

What We Do

•       Increase giving and participation among Rowan University’s alumni, faculty and staff, parents and friends to support the Rowan Fund and other areas of need at the University. 
•       Update alumni, faculty and staff, parent and friend records (new addresses, phone numbers and business information). 
•       Share University news and upcoming events. Student callers play an integral role in establishing a good rapport between the University and its constituents.

The Annual Giving Program makes more personal contacts with alumni each year than any other office on campus. As a result, we play a key role in sharing the University's vision and gaining support for the entire Rowan community.
