Portrait of Stanley LaBrunaStanley LaBruna has been a member of the Rowan University Foundation Board of Directors since 1991 and served two terms as Board Chair.

Mr. LaBruna retired from Public Service Enterprise Group (PSEG) in 2007 as Vice President—Environment, Health & Safety. Prior to that position, he held the positions of Vice President-Nuclear Engineering, Vice President—Nuclear Operations, and General Manager—Hope Creek Operations. He joined PSEG as a cadet engineer in 1964.

Mr. LaBruna held a variety of engineering management positions including Performance Supervisor at Kearny Generating Station, Operating Engineer at Hudson and Linden Generating Stations, Performance and Maintenance Engineer at Hudson Generating Station, and Maintenance Engineer at Salem Generating Station. He obtained a Senior Reactor Operator License at Salem Generating Station Units 1 and 2 before being transferred to Hope Creek in 1981 as Assistant General Manager to prepare the unit for licensing and future operation.

Mr. LaBruna earned his bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from Fairleigh Dickinson University. In addition, he completed master's-level courses in math and engineering at the New Jersey Institute of Technology. He also attended the Harvard Business School (PMD) Program for Management Development.

Besides his membership on the Rowan Foundation Board, Mr. LaBruna is a member of the Board of the Center for Aquatic Science at Adventure Aquarium and a member of the Board of the NJ Corporation of Advanced Technology.
