Joseph Bottazzi
Joseph Bottazzi has been a member of the Rowan University Foundation Board since 2009.
He has previously served as Chair of the Development Committee and now serves on the Investment and Development Committees. Joe is also a member of the Rowan Innovation Venture Fund Board of Managers.
Since 2017, Mr. Bottazzi has served as Vice President and Executive Partner at Gartner, a leading research and advisory company equipping business leaders with the tools to build successful organizations. Also in 2017, Mr. Bottazzi founded Summit Group Consulting, LLC where he helps companies and individuals with strategic planning, revenue acceleration, and executive coaching.
He was previously Executive Vice President, Business Development for Edelman Financial Services LLC, one of the nation’s largest and fastest growing financial planning and investment management firms, where he was responsible for directing the company’s planned new business lines, all designed to enhance the firm’s ability to serve its current clients and expand nationwide. Before joining Edelman Financial, he was the Senior Vice President of its Americas Technology Services business and was responsible for approximately one-third of its $127 billion annual revenue, with more than 8,000 employees in its business unit. Prior to this position, Mr. Bottazzi was an executive with Hewlett-Packard, the world’s largest information technology company.
Mr. Bottazzi graduated from Rowan University in 1980 with a bachelor’s degree in marketing and earned a master’s degree in business administration from Fordham University.
