David J. Strout
David J. Strout joined the Rowan University Foundation Board of Directors in 2008.
He is a partner and President with Cettei & Connell, Inc., a full-service insurance and financial services company located in Woodbury, NJ. He has been with the firm since 1989. The grandson of the company’s original owner, David F. Connell, Jr., Mr. Strout is the third generation of his family to operate the business.
Mr. Strout is a board member of The Independent Insurance Agents and Brokers of New Jersey. He also serves on the government affairs committee.
Mr. Strout is a board member of the Greater Woodbury Chamber of Commerce and is a past president of the Woodbury Jaycees, past president of the Independent Insurance Agents of Camden-Gloucester and a former two-term city councilman in the City of Woodbury. He attended The College of New Jersey and the South Jersey Professional School of Business.
