Academic Detailing Sessions
About Academic Detailing Sessions
Our specialized program staff are trained to meet with you, our New Jersey healthcare professionals, to assess individual prescriber needs and the needs of your practice.
Our clinicians will meet with healthcare professionals for a 1 hour, virtual session. Here they will assess individual needs, and needs of the practice, and then offer tailored, evidence-based clinical recommendations that are customized to meet the provider's needs. These needs can include; helping them taper patients taking high-risk opioid regimens, promoting non pharmacological treatments for pain management, and increasing the use of medication-assisted treatment and co-prescribing of naloxone for reversal of an overdose for opiate use disorders.
Additionally, intensive academic detailing sessions are available, which will offer an audit of medical records, written report of findings, remediation training, and reiteration of the process until the desired change is achieved.
Continuing Medical Education Credits are available to those who participate.
